When not walking her 2 rescue dogs on the beach, and simultaneously suffering from a general compassion fatigue in wanting to adopt all of the shelter dogs and cats in Cape Town, Juliette enjoys an appreciation for fine food and wine, and spending time with her family. Good conversation over a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon constitutes a perfect evening for Juliette. Life is about balance, however, and Juliette does enjoy throwing a bar bell around a CrossFit gym, and is proud of being able to deadlift at least twice her body weight.

Nuraan is very family-orientated and has 7 kids to keep her hands full when she is not looking after everyone at Brevity Law.
Candice’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Cape Town majoring in Political Science and Gender Studies, during which time she developed a deep fascination of the South African legal system. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, she then went on to study an LLB through the University of the Free State. In 2017 she completed the full-time practical legal training course offered by the Cape Town School for Legal Practice. Candice enjoys problem solving, commercial drafting and assisting start-ups in establishing, managing and growing their business.

Candice is a full-time attorney and part-time oenophile, who just made it all the way back from a wine harvest on the central coast of California, to become a proud member of the Brevity Law team in 2018. When she is not swimming in paperwork (or fine Pinot Noir) this closet film critic can almost definitely be found at Cape Town’s Labia Theatre, glued to the screen.
